2235- Jan 14, 2010- NMB E731 Arrived on scene at 24ave and Airport Rd. and reported heavy fire showing from a two story single family dwelling. Lt Suggs established Division 2 with an interior crew and got a good knock on the fire. Crews have just called for a second interior line to Division2. BC 71 Davis has the Command

Oct 24 0900hrs- Units were alerted for a reported house on fire on Old Chesterfield Rd near Hwy 90. E18 went on location with a well involved vacant wood frame house. Crews were on the scene approx 3 hours. BC Todd had the command. This was newly promoted Lt. Marksburys first day at work and his first fire. This was also BC Todds last shift before he goes to the training division.

Oct. 24-0900 Units from Conway Fire were alerted to Hwy 701 South for a Vehicle Accident. E511 arrived on scene and advised three patients trapped and requested a second medic unit and E3 to assist with the extrication. Crews removed both sides of the vehicle to remove the patients. Capt. Hendrick had the 701 Command

October 25, 2009 0735hrs- Units were alerted to the Crain Creek Apts for a reported fire in the bedroom. E511 arrived on scene and reported heavy smoke showing from a duplex. E511 crew made an nterior attack to hold the fire to two rooms. Capt. Carter had the command

Oct. 5, 2009- Units from Sta.23 responded to Hwy 501 for a reported vehicle accident involving a moped. First arriving personnel reported a trauma code. M23 transported to Conway ER. Just a few hours after the 501 incident the units from Sta. 8 were alerted to a reported pedestrian struck on Hwy 548 and Juniper Bay Rd. E8 arrived on scene and reported a trauma code. M8 transported to Conway ER.

Oct. 5, 2009 0145- Units from HCFR and MBFD were alerted for a reported head on collision on the Hwy 501 Pottery Bridge. E4 arrived first and reported several patients one of which was trapped. Battalion 2 arrived and established the 501 Command and requested a third medic unit. E4 and rescue 1 handled the extrication of one unconcious patient while M30 and M1 were assisted by MBFD E-611 with packaging 3 non critical patients. All of the patients were taken to GSRMC.

Oct. 8, 2009- 1930hrs- Off duty personnel went on the scene with smoke showing from a doublewide mobile home on Revis Ln. Crews from E4 and E1 placed in a line in service while R1 completed the searches. The fire was located in a bedroom and handled with one line. The occupant was treated on the scene with smoke inhalation. Battalion 2 (Gibbins) had the command.

Horry County fire/Rescue has opened up a third battalion and the units will operate on TAC 3 for radio operations. Captains Walker and VanAernem have been promoted to fill the vacancies created by opening up the new battalion. Congrats to HCFR on the new battalion and the Captains on their promotions.

August 5, 2008- 1400hrs- E23 arrived on location on Commonwealth Circle in the Legacy Apartment and reported smoke showing from Division 1. Crews made entry to the ground floor unit and found a fire on the stove with minimal extension to the hood. Command held L534 and E23 for ventilation.
