Another house lost to fire in the prestigous ocean front community in Georgetown. The fire was well involved when firefighters arrived. Several houses were damaged just two weeks ago in the same quiet community. Go to MYRTLEBEACHONLINE.COM for photos.

May 3 - Murrells Inlet requested mutual aide from Midway and Surfside Beach Fire to control a fire in a well involved house in Mt. Gilead. Crews initially mounted an agressive interior attack however were evacuated when the fire took hold of the attic space. Initially an exposure was in danger
