July 20- 1700 Battalion 2 called in a trauma alert from a MVA involving a motorcycle on Hwy 707 near Moss Creek Rd.

July 1-1740 HRS- A Brush fire on South Bound 31 just North of Hwy 501 is backing up to the Plantation Lakes Sub-Division. Crews are in place in the sub-division where they fear issues with spot fires. Battalion 2 has the command.

June 28- M61 arrived on scene and reported one patient entrapped and requested a second medic unit to assist with a second patient. The accident was located on Hwy 17 Business and Grande Dunes Blvd.

June 27, 0130 - Murrells Inlet Garden City FD went on scene of the Garden City Baptist Church with fire showing. A second alarm was requested that consisted of Horry County Fire/Rescue E20,E1,TW1 and Battalion 1. Battalion 1(GIBBINS) Was assigned by command to handle the D-Exposure a two story school 200X40 which had fire on the Division 1,2 and runnning the attic. Crews laddered division 2 and made an agressive push into division 2 where MBFD 631, E4, LADDER 39 opened up and got ahead of the fire. The exposure was placed under control in 15 minutes. Crews were then re-assigned to BC Gardner in the the Sanctuary Division where the fire had extended into a void between the hardwood ceiling and shingled roof. Crews were sent to the roof to open up. After several attempts to gain access to the void from the interior and roof operations command determined the fire would go exterior. Crews from Horry County , Myrtle Beach, and Surfside remained on the scene until 1000hrs.

June 17, 2009 1300hrs- Crews from 40 and 34 were alerted for a car vs. Horse with the rider down. M34 arrived and reported the patient concious and alert.

June 6,2009 1900hrs- Firefighters are currently working to extricate a patient who is trapped in a partialy submerged vehicle. The crews have removed the roof to gain access to the patient. BC Gardner has the command Capt. Stevens is the Rescue Group Leader.

June 5- 1030 HRS - Units from Sta 19 and loris Fire responded to a reported vehicle accident with entrapment on Hwy 9 and Hwy 66. M35 arrived on scene and reported 4 patiets out of the vehicle and a fatality in a second vehicle that was in the ditch. M25 was brought in to transport the patients that were walking wounded.

June 5- Units reported one fatality after a vehicle left the roadway and overturned partially ejecting the driver. Capt. Richardson had the command.

June 3, 2009- A North Myrtle Beach ladder truck caught fire during annual testing at the Lake Arrowhead Wal-Mart store. HCFR E7 responded to assist with the extinguishment. The ladder truck sustained severe damage to the engine compartment.
